We spent a night with the judges who are downing the Shaheds over Kyiv. In the Middle East, the U.S. is still learning how to repel massive drone attacks, while Ukraine has been doing it for years.
I spent a day with this volunteer air defence unit too, with a lawyer rather than the judges (although he did point out to me the judges’ position!) Amazing guys. To spend all night defending the skies, then change out of their uniforms and go back to work… respect.

To me, it showed how far life changed for people, my friend said he never dreamed that one day he would be learning how to operate a large machine gun and mastering all the precise tactics of shooting down drones. There were people from all sorts of backgrounds at the position, all very determined to do what they could to defend the city. Some had been involved in the battle for Kyiv in 2022, others had no prior military experience - but i could see that they worked together as a very close and powerful team.
Thank you for the latest updates and analysis. trump has stiffed Ukraine so many times that I wouldn't trust trump to do anything that favors Ukraine over trump's pal vlad. Yet if Ukraine can convince the wealthy gulf states that it can help them avoid the worst of the drone attaches, the wealthy gulf states may be willing to support Ukraine with much needed cash to purchase and develop weapons. The gulf states might then be able to show trump that helping Ukraine is helping trump. The demented trump might see that assisting Ukraine and accepting their expertise is a win for trump. Approaching the gulf states might lead to more help for Ukraine than approaching flailing trump initially, since trump and the manic drunk hegseth are such egomaniacs. It would likely do more good than harm for Ukraine to t least offer assistance,since they are more qualified at drone warfare than the US or its gulf allies.
My first blush reaction: How US has treated Ukraine under trump and with bibi's genocide in Palestine? NFW to help. But millions of beings' lives are at stake... like in Ukraine. Could this help the wider cause, including Ukraine future free from Putin and his goons?

Don’t trust the USA. Trump has screwed over Ukraine to many times. They will steal your hard work on tech. I am IN THE USA and a combat vet. I have seen the duplicity of the USA in combat. Slava Ukraine 👍🏻❤️
By sending drone experts to defend against Iranian drones they become legitimate targets in two wars. Will KGB agents try to take them out while they are outside of Ukraine? Will the IRG fire on Ukraine?
