So many of these ultra-rightwing monarchists were regime stooges until very recently...

I'm suspicious of this man. He sounds like he's still working for the Islamic Republic. It's well established that their agents have extensively inflitrated the (frankly pathetic) foreign opposition.

Never trust these late detectors.

Hi Sepehr, thank you for your comment. I think your lack of trust for defectors is something a lot of people might resonate with and I think point about Islamic Republic infiltrating foreign opposition is an interesting and important one — I have definitely heard about this problem from Iranians I have spoken to. But usually these infiltrators trying to cause infighting between the anti-regime protesters — they start shouting controversial slogans to get people riled up etc., which isn’t Reza reputation and hasn’t been what I have seen from him at the protests. I also wanted to pick up on your point about ultra-rightwing monarchists. Reza, like a lot of Iranians, has expressed that he support the return of the crown prince, so that Iran can transition to democracy, not the return of a monarchy - perhaps I should’ve clarified this in the article. Thank you again for reading and expressing your views, always interesting to hear people’s reactions.

Alessandra, Reza Pahlavi is a sock puppet.

Go to X and read his handlers' posts over the years. They are fascists and will not relinquish power once they have it.
